Beth DeLair is a registered nurse and licensed attorney. She has over 23 years of combined clinical, operational, legal and compliance experience in both private and academic medical health care settings. Beth has 17 years direct experience in health compliance serving in mid and high level in-house positons as well as providing services as a compliance consultant.
Beth started her compliance career at Rush University Medical Center where she was first a Student Extern and then the Compliance Manager. In those roles, she was responsible for supporting the Director of Compliance and the existing compliance program, which included monitoring regulatory changes, drafting policies, performing audits and providing education.
Beth subsequently became Director of Compliance and Associate General Counsel at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics (“UWHC”). In that position, Beth was responsible for developing a comprehensive hospital billing and regulatory compliance program involving all federal and state regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid billing, HIPAA, Stark, Anti-Kickback, False Claims Act, EMTALA, CLIA and FDA.
Beth left UWHC in 2007 to start DeLair Consulting where she has specialized in health care compliance consulting services. As a consultant, Beth has provided numerous compliance consulting services including research billing compliance services, compliance program development, compliance program effectiveness audits, billing audits and staffing as an Interim Compliance Officer (at the Director or Vice President level). Her experience helping to recruit for permanent positions while in interim roles led Beth to starting HCCR.
Angela VanGinkel, M.B.A., has extensive health care experience in business development and recruiting. Angela began her career in healthcare in 2000 and has been an in-house recruiter since 2003 crossing the span of three integrated healthcare systems and a biotech firm. With her breadth of recruitment knowledge and diverse healthcare experience, Angela takes extreme pride in finding the best fit for both the candidate and organizational culture.
